Vergina and the sights

The most important monuments of the archaeological site of Vergina :

  • The Museum holds the royal tombs of Great Tumulus. Visitors can see at the tomb of Philip II. the findings of unique value (golden urn, urn, wreaths, shield, etc.) which are elements of global interest.
  • Opposite our guesthouse is the royal tomb of Evridiki, which probably belongs to the mother of Philip II. and is dated around 340 B.C.
  • The Palace, where mosaic floor and the Theatre are preserved.
